About Us, Our History and Mission
In 1982, Agatha Wang, owner and founder of Ag Photo - Digital Image Lab, felt that the photography community needed a place where both amateur and professional photographers could be served. Thus, Ag Photo (the Ag stands for the element silver - used in the formation of images) was founded in order to provide this learning environment for both amateur and the professional photographer.
Located in the East Bay Area, about 30 minutes from San Francisco, CA, Ag Photo is also located in close proximity to various universities and colleges such as the University of California at Berkeley and California College of Arts and Crafts. As a result, Ag Photo is constantly stimulated by our curious and adventurous customers. Ag Photo has grown both in range of services and in our expertise, becoming increasingly able to serve our customers growing needs. Currently offering both film and digital imaging services, Ag Photo's wide range of services attracts a variety of cutomers.
In addition to its various services, we at Ag Photo take great pride in the diverse compostition of our staff. Coming from different educational and ethnic backgrounds, Ag Photo strives to utilize these differences to create an interesting and educational work place environment.
